Getting Here: Parking & Transportation Tips

New for 2026! Prepaid parking is available for purchase in advance at allianzamphitheater.com/upgrades. Allianz Amp show day operated lots include the Spring Street Lot (500 Spring St) and the Canal Street Lot (500 E Canal Street - across from the Delta Hotel). The Spring Street lot includes accessible parking, and shuttle pick-up and drop-off are located directly outside the lot. All parking lots open at 5:00pm unless otherwise indicated at purchase.

GRTC - Zero Fare!
The zero-fare Bus Rapid Transit line is a convenient option, with the nearest stop at the Virginia War Memorial, just steps away from the Brown's Island Way Entrance. The Pulse runs:

• Every 10 minutes on weekdays until 7:00 PM
• Every 15 minutes in the evening and on weekends
• Every 30 minutes late night (11:30 PM – 1:00 AM)
  Pulse buses stop only at platform-level stations and use smart signal technology to stay on schedule.

Bike Rack Locations
Bringing your bike? Racks are located:

• Along Tredegar Street near 5th Street
• Where the bridge meets Tredegar and Brown’s Island
• Along Kanawha Plaza on E. Byrd St

Scooters
Zip over on a rental scooter! Richmond offers Bird, Lime, and Spin scooters throughout the city. Just download the app for your preferred service to find a nearby ride.

Rideshare drop off and pickup point is at the 7th St. Roundabout near Tredegar (CoStar Building). Those familiar with Friday Cheers and Brown’s Islands shows will be familiar with this spot!

We allow clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc bags (maximum size 12" x 6" x 12") OR small clutch bags that don't need to be clear (maximum size 6" x 9"). All bags are subject to search upon entry.

While we don’t allow lawn chairs to be brought in from outside, we will have them available to rent inside the venue. Feel free to bring in a blanket with you, or you may purchase one from the venue.

Our box office is located at the Main Entrance on 5th Street, and is open on event days only, beginning 1 hour prior to door time.

• Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags no larger than 6”x 9”. 
• Small Blankets / Beach Towels
• Cameras - non-professional only, no detachable lenses
• Water - up to 1 gallon in a factory sealed or empty bottle (we do not permit Metal or Glass water bottles)

We are partnering with local food & beverage vendors to offer concessions inside the venue. The venue will have a variety of delicious food and beverage options available for purchase. Please note that items and pricing are subject to change from event to event.

All points of sale will only accept credit or debit via card or mobile pay. This is a cashless venue.

Since we’re an outdoor venue, weather can sometimes be a factor. If conditions become unsafe—just like at a Squirrels or Kickers game—shows may be delayed or rescheduled. But we’re prepared! Our team closely monitors the forecast and keeps fans updated in real time. A little rain won’t stop the show, and Richmond music lovers know how to make the most of any concert, rain or shine!

No matter how you like to experience live music, we’ve got you covered! Allianz Amphitheater has reserved seats, VIP boxes, and a large general admission lawn—so you can be right up front or kick back under the stars. With space for more than 7,000 fans, it’s the perfect mix of energy and intimacy. And the best part? Every spot has a great view, so no matter where you are, you’ll feel close to the music.

Depending on the show you are attending, the pit may be a reserved seating setup or a general admission standing area. Check the ticketing website for your show and click the seating map for more info.

Re-Entry will not be permitted at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening, you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.

Our venue is all ages. Children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket. We understand that little ones often come with diaper bags, which are ok, but they’ll just be subject to a security screening. Children without a ticket must sit on a caregiver's lap if they are located in the seats.

We do not permit strollers, wagons, or other wheeled devices other than for mobility impairments (i.e. wheelchair) to be brought into the venue, but we would love to welcome your little one. If you have purchased lawn seats, we do offer lawn chairs for rent once inside the venue or you are welcomed to bring a blanket or purchase one inside.
